I love a good button-down, and this one seems ready to become a new rotation staple. I initially ordered a size Medium, as I have wide/broad shoulders (and I do tend to like my clothing a little oversized, generally) and almost always need larger shirts for that reason. While I could have kept the medium, I decided to exchange for a size Small and I am SO glad that I did. The Small fits much better, and looks great on (my bad photos are not doing it justice!) The fabric is just stretchy enough that the shoulders/back are not an issue, the sleeves of the size small fit really well, and the back is long in a well-designed way (the Medium size was just *too* long for my height - for reference, I'm just under 5'4" and around 145 lbs right now). I love the design and cut of the stand-up collar, the long back, and the sleeves actually fit me perfectly (I'm usually to always cuff or roll up my sleeves, and while that is an *option* with this shirt, it isn't necessary for me to wear it comfortably, which is a nice surprise!) I'm looking forward to wearing this both open as an "overshirt" in warmer weather, as well as fully buttoned up and worn underneath sweaters, etc. in the colder months! The UPF 50 protection was a HUGE selling point for me as well. Looking forward to seeing how this shirt holds up over time!
