To my chagrin as an Aday devotee, I can only recommend purchasing this piece if you have a gift card, points, and/or an excellent tailor. Main concerns are the size, hood, and wrist guards.
Took it to the tailor as I missed the return window after holding onto it too long, wanting to love it, but not wanting to wear it as even sizing down once is too little.
The fabric is superior for water resistance and beautiful, yet the hood is way too large and unmanageable without a tie of some sort.
The lapel and neck do come together wonderfully however with a sturdy hook and eye.
The wrist guards have dual snaps for some unknown reason, because if you use the tighter of the snaps, the excess fabric is just hanging in the wind awkwardly.
Could have been 10/10, but sadly missed the mark on a few key areas.

This is a beautifully made raincoat. It’s heavier and warmer than I thought when I purchased but that is good thing! I ordered a Medium because I order larger in coats usually for room but this cost is still a little too big. I would possibly order down.

Fabulous trench coat!
This has the classic collar that I love in a trench coat. The fit is extremely comfortable and stylish.
The detachable hood is a bonus and the adjustable cuff detailing elevates this style to a different level.
